Victorian Men's Netball League History Men's Netball commenced in 1983 at Club level with approximately 30 players. Tournaments were held in Melbourne and Geelong for players to compete and develop skills. In 1985, All Australia Men's Netball Association (AAMNA) was formed to gather from each State, teams to play in a National Tournament. This Tournament has now become an annual event, held during the Easter holidays, hosted on a rotational basis by the States. Victoria has participated in every Australian Championship and is the only State to have always entered a team in every division. Victoria has hosted many Australian Championships and has been very successful winning almost half of all titles. |
