For
20 years the Australian Men’s Netball Association has been hosting a
National Championships during or around the Easter holiday period.
In past years the state of Queensland
has been represented, however a few years back the local organising
group disbanded, resulting in no
Queensland
team being represented at National level since 2001.
It’s time that changed.
2009 will be an exciting year for Queensland Netball with the state hosting the National Championships at Easter on the Sunshine Coast. The event will be held at the Caloundra Indoor
Stadium. Go to the state team info page for info on trials and dates.
Applications are currently being sought for positions of Coaches, Managers, umpires, committee members, and volunteers for the 2009 Nationals (scorers, timekeepers etc.) Click here for an application form.
