For years the VMNL has provided elite netball sides valuable
match practise as they prepare for such events as the National
Netball League season or World Netball Championships.
This year has been no different, with our open men's side
providing both Kestrels and Phoenix with a series of pre-season
practise matches. The boys also took on the Australian
women's side in April, and then a 'development' team took to the
court against the Australian 21 & Under Women's team in
July.
Look forward to announcements soon about the VMNL entering into
formal arrangements with key netball stakeholders, providing our
players with matches against domestic, national and international
teams.
