Cyclones take home FIVE out of six titles

A tremendous tour was capped of today, when the Victorian Cyclones won Five of of six Australian Titles.

VICTORIAN OPEN MEN - 4 in a row
VICTORIAN OPEN MIXED - 5 in a row
VICTORIAN MENS RESERVES - 7 successive titles
VICTORIAN 19 & UNDER MEN - 6 in a row
VICTORIAN 17 & UNDER BOYS - 5 in a row

Well done also to the VIC 23 & Under Men. Runner up this year, but back on top next year for sure.

50 Vic Cyclones earn AUSSIE honours

Fifty Victorians were named in Australian teams at the 2012 Australian Championships.

Particularly exciting for the 35 who were named in the Australian Sonix squad to take on the Kiwis in October.

WANTED: State coaches and managers

THE Victorian Men's Netball League is seeking applications from interested coaches and team managers for the 2012 Victorian Cyclones squad.

The Cyclones will travel to the Gold Coast at Easter next year to contest the Australian Men's and Mixed Netball National Championships.

This year a 150-strong squad travelled to Sydney, winning five out of six divisions.

Coaches and managers applications are now being sought for teams including:

M-League starts Wednesday

THE new M-League men's and mixed season gets underway this Wednesday night (August 17) at the State Netball and Hockey Centre.

This year's competition is expected to be as competitive as ever, with eight men's teams signed up and 13 mixed teams set to battle it out across two divisions.

Weekly fixturing will be slightly different this year, with the men's division to play in the 8.10pm timeslot, in between the two mixed divisions.

Week 1 fixture is below. Full season fixtures will be given to team captains on arrival on Wednesday.
